Notts Winter Mini Tennis League

The Nottinghamshire LTA Mini League (sponsored by RWB Chartered Accountants) is a team tennis competition for 8U and 9U players at tennis clubs around Nottinghamshire.

The league season comprises 6 events where fixtures are played at a centralised venue in partnership with Nottingham Trent University Tennis Centre.

The Winter 2023-24 season saw a record 14 teams enter (8 in 8U across 2 divisions and 6 in 9U) from 8 Nottinghamshire clubs, with an amazing 69 youth tennis players involved between October 2023 and March 2024.

Match play events were supported by assistant referees/court supervisors from NTU Tennis’ student workforce, including up and coming coaches, competition organisers and officials.

Huge congratulations to red ball players from Nottingham Tennis Centre, who topped the 8U Division 1, and David Lloyd Nottingham who finished as champions of 8U Division 2.

The winner of the Winter 2023-24 9U league for the 2nd consecutive year is West Bridgford Tennis Club, who achieved an unbeaten league season.

Nottingham Tennis Centre finished runners up, clinching a 2nd-placed finish over David Lloyd West Bridgford on the final day of the season.
