Notts' Men's O75 Team Report

The maxim of the Nottinghamshire Men’s 75’s county team is “It’s all about taking part and enjoying the game”!

Two injuries to report. Firstly, Ashley Looker took a nasty tumble in the first match; he soldiered on only to be replaced by Bob Bridges for the second round.

In the final match, David Carter injured his racket arm in the first few games but carried on in stoic fashion. He reckoned that he had less pain playing a backhand; he said after the match “It’s the first time I’ve run round my forehand to play a backhand!!”
